The impact of COVID-19 has been devastating and we are finding that connection to others is more important than ever and to some, therapy provides that connection.  So it is with great sadness that temporarily I have to stop face-to-face sessions with clients, this is for the safety of us both. I realise that face-to-face is the best way to work and understand that the therapy room offers a safe place for many. However, I am continuing to work, as I can still offer online (through Zoom and Skype) and telephone counselling. If you feel you would like to start therapy with me, please do still get in touch, however, bear in mind that until restrictions have been lifted, I can only offer therapy in this way.

Thank you in advance

Lets start a journey..

We live in a fast-paced world, that doesn't allow us to slow down, let alone stop. This never-ending hamster wheel of life doesn't care if we begin to feel overwhelmed, isolated, stressed, sad, anxious or in turmoil. So what do we do, we keep on going, until one day we feel we can't go on anymore!

If this sounds familiar, then maybe talking to someone might help.

Therapy gives you that pause button, that time for only you.

Within your therapy sessions, you are supported to explore some of those thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. Guided by you, at your pace, this may start to ease some of those stresses, enabling you to move forward.

Choosing to embark on the process of therapy or counselling, can, for some, be a daunting process. Who to choose, how much to spend and what sort of therapy would suit me? Nowadays, there is so much choice!

In the next few pages, I hope to answer some of those questions, making the decision to start with a therapist a little less scary.

But if you still feel uneasy, please don't hesitate to get in touch and I can try and answer the questions you may have.
